The campground
The Beech Tree campground is a large grassy meadow with multiple pitches, surrounded by beautiful woodland providing welcome shade in the summertime. The dog-friendly site is suitable for both tents and small vans, with no marked pitches but plenty of space for friends and family to camp together. BBQs and campfires are permitted and there is a natural granite firepit in the centre of the site which is shared amongst all campsite users.

Communal Amenities Tent
This ex-army mess tent is a communal space for guests to cook, eat and chill out. It has plenty of room for larger parties to host mealtimes, making it perfect for birthdays and events. Situated near the converted railway carriage and on the other side of the stone wall to the campground. Guests are welcome to bring their own cooking facilities to the tent, but please be respectful of other campsite users.
Facilities
Our modern conversion of an old railway carriage provides two solar-powered hot showers and two unisex toilets. Finished to a high standard, there are also charging points and wifi. Next to the carriage is the washing and recycling area and a communal BBQ for use by all campsite guests. The facilities are situated on the other side of the stonewall to the campground and are just a minute's walk away.
